Jamie and Basil

December 10, 2008

We really lucked out this day.  It poured all morning long and then as soon as we arrived at the wedding it cleared up, and the temperature rose about 20 degrees.

It ended up being a beautiful day and a beautiful wedding.

Jamie and Basil were adorable and so much fun. The high point of the evening definitely was the song Basil wrote and performed for Jamie.  Carina and I both teared up a bit.

Anyways, here are some of the photos!

Jen and Craig

October 28, 2008

Jen and Craig were a ton of fun.  Not only are they both geniuses, but they are hilarious and adorable.  We had been excited about photographing down in Bartram’s Gardens for a while now too.  It was a perfectly lovely day.

Katie and Drew

September 16, 2008

We fell in love with Katie and Drew the first time we saw them.  They weren’t planning on having a wedding photographer at all, but after talking to Carina and I for a few minutes, they decided to let us.  I loved their wedding! They looked great and were so laid back about everything.  There was a quick ceremony in the park full of Katie’s crazy Canadian relatives, then a reception in the sanctuary at Fleisher Art Memorial. It sounds backwards, but it was perfect.

Plus, I have to love anyone that has their dogs in the wedding party.

Meghan and Brian

September 2, 2008

Goodness- I have a lot of catching up to do.  It has been a such a busy summer, I keep forgetting to post images!

Meghan and Brian are a gorgeous couple, so of course if was fun to photograph them.  They were also easy to work with and they threw a great party.  Here are some images from that day.

Craig and Denise

July 9, 2008

Craig and Denise were awesome and so much fun. They were married at the Tyler Arboretum, which was beautiful. I love outdoor weddings. I also love how Craig danced. He danced all night long. Here are a few photos to demonstrate (and some formals too)

Val and Hubie

July 7, 2008

I’ve been terribly slack on new posts, despite the incredible amount of work I’ve been doing.  One or two weddings a weekend is wearing on me, luckily I have a little bit of a break this month.

Anyways back to business, Val and Hubie’s wedding was quite a bit ago, and we are actually meeting with them tonight to give them the photos.  Their wedding was in a beautiful old gothic church in  Elkins Park.  It was one of those incredibly hot days but it did not stop everyone from looking great and having a wonderful time!

Here are some photos:

Everything at their wedding looked so good its really hard to choose images.  Between the awesome outfits and tiny rice krispy treat cakes and the badminton, this might be our favorite wedding so far.

Gwen and Ken

May 29, 2008

Gwen and Ken got married a few weeks ago and Carina and I were lucky enough to be the photographers for the event. The ceremony was in a gorgeous old synagogue on Broad Street and the reception was near Rittenhouse. It felt like our first real “Philadelphia” wedding, complete with Love Park and City Hall photos. Here are a few images from the evening.
